2.The target user culture, behavior, and habits

If you want to extend your market, the first thing you need to do is a careful investigation Ethnographic Survey, one method of user research. What local people like, what dislike, what behaviors are forbidden, and so on. The task are heavy but meaningful and critical.

Due to culture and language difference, different countries have very different preference to the appearance of site, such as the color, font  & size,  the interaction, content layout etc. It is important to have a localized design to improve the site experience and conversion rate.

For example, UBER from US VS Didi and Kuaidi from China. They all seize the market and user by subsidying users again and again. After a fierce competition, they merge into one company, becoming the leading company in self-service taxi.

4.UX research

The online form are basically website and mobile app, they are all interface design, need UX research and evaluation. The quality of your web and app is the the key to retain potential users. For example, China’s most popular app WeChat expands its global oversea market. It has developed strategic partnership with the local companies, they can help Tencent and benefit themselves at the same time. Hire local designers as staffs is a direct way.
